[OOC: Backdated to sometime very shortly after this post.]

[Shego appears on the video feed. She's in Joker's room, standing over his unconscious body - he's just about visible on the floor in front of her. There are some smears of blood across her suit and her face; her expression is grim but satisfied. She has a black eye and she's bleeding from a slash across her collarbone and shoulder.]

Just FYI, somebody needs to come get this creep before I do actually kill him.

[Pause.]

Also? I'd recommend sending a medic down to Zero. I think he's got a couple broken ribs. Let me check.

[She kicks him hard in the side.]

Uh-huh. Definitely broken. Soo, I don't really know the protocol here, I guess -

[There's a sound from somewhere outside the shot, someone else entering the room, and she glances away from her communicator.]

Cavalry's here. Disregard the above, kids.

[She leans over and switches off the video feed.]

[OOC again: The cavalry is Tim. He also got an early warning, from Seven, but Shego got the few-minutes'-headstart necessary to beat the crap out of Joker. Prefect is her friend; do not touch. :c ]

[Well. This wasn't exactly what he expected to find when he got here. Cackling, that he expected, bad jokes, or maybe some good, old fashioned monologuing, but Shego? Not so much.]

...Looks like you beat me to the punch. Literally.

[She sits down on Joker's bed and shrugs.]

What can I tell you? Never liked clowns all that much.

Me neither. [But still. Staring at Joker for a minute. Huh.] Did you pat him down for weapons?

[He's just. Going to crouch and do that anyway, and glance at her.] So, why did you come do this?

He had a knife. [She thinks that's sort of obvious from how she's bleeding but shrugs it off.] It's on the floor somewhere. Otherwise I really didn't wanna pat him down for anything.

[Anyway, he's unconscious. What's he going to do? But when she watches Tim go about the search anyway - pointlessly - she just pulls a a face.] He blew up two people for kicks and you're questioning my motives?

Obviously, [He mutters, but. Well. He's used to the Joker being a tricky son of a bitch and he doesn't really want him waking up with a weapon on the way down to zero. As Tim straightens, he's jerking Joker up with him, jostling until he can get the clown over his shoulders. Not fun.]

I'm not questioning, I'm asking.

[Sigh. She could just say she was working on orders, but then he'd want to know who from, and no way was anybody going to take that rap. Then there was the possibility of saying she was just working for the greater good, which made her hurt inside, but she would have even preferred that to the truth. Which she was going to tell him. Very simply.]

Prefect's my friend, Tim.

[At least he isn't a jerk about it. He just gets a better grip on Joker and nods.] I'm sorry. I...[Well. There really isn't anything he could have done but. He wishes there was.] If I ask you to come with me down to zero, will you resist the urge to invert his face with your fist?

[She gets up from the bed] His face is already about as inverted as I wanted to make it. I didn't wanna kill him.

[Tim is secretly REALLY RELIEVED as he heads for the door.] Yeah, I can tell. I'm almost not bitter I didn't get a shot.

You can break his arm when he comes round and blame me. Think of it as a gift.

I think I'd rather take the credit. [He glances sidelong at her.] you going to get in trouble for this?

[She's just going to go ahead and hit the call button for the elevator for him.] If Kirk comes back this time, I guess we'll see.

[Why no she is not terribly happy about him taking off again.]

[Oh good, because he was going to have to kick at that button. Tim just glances sidelong at her. Kirk. Sigh.] I'm pretty sure plenty of people will vouch for you.

[Shego laughs bitterly.] Sure. What's the worst he can do, anyways? Take my powers, sling me in Zero for a few days, tell me off. I am so terrified.

I think anyone who knows any version of the Joker has a conflict of interests.

[His eyes flick to the Joker very briefly, but he doesn't keep them there.]

[lol because I have no idea where she'll have ended up at this point.]

Couple scratches. You feeling better?

[He nods, then realizes she might not be able to see it.]

[He's re-watching your original video post, just staring at the limp form of Joker.]

I'm gonna start a score card for how many morally dubious victories the engine room, as a collective manages to accumulate. Way to kick ass, Shego.
