[Some muttering here about how Kirk sucks and how his timing sucks.]

Comrade, you okay? You always die when stuff happens. Parker?

[Long pause.]

Oh.  Hey.  General FYI: everybody who went down to fix up the engine room got our faces melted off. I think.  Don't remember it all that well.  And when I say 'our' I do mean 'including me'.

She closed her eyes. Everything felt like an effort. "Did I miss anything? Between the power coming back and right now, I mean."

"We're still on - ? Ugh." Shego was objecting mostly on principle, she didn't know how she'd feel about solid food for the next few days, but for some reason she was craving the sort of calorie-rich, nutritionally void food she lectured Kirk for eating. She was craving pancakes. Getting horribly killed was a good workout, maybe.

"What about your Warden, is he around?" She pulled a face. "Did he even come back from the last time he disappeared?"
