[She takes stance and - speaking of flashy - lets crackling green energy encircle her hands. Even with the ten per cent cap Kirk's put on her powers, she can still punch through a couple thicknesses of brick wall and boil water by touching it; if this guy (he's got a name. L something. It's on the tip of her tongue) can 'take a hit' then so much the better. She's not much in the mood for reining things in.]

[He grins a little as he rolls his arms then crouches down, his 'stance' looking more like the starting position of a linebacker.]

[She runs, jumps and lunges for a body blow. Either she'll throw him across the room or she'll hit a completely immovable object, and she's braced for the latter because it'd hurt more.

[He feels a whole lot harder than your average guy, but he's still movable and is knocked backwards, rolling a bit before managing to land back on his feet. When he stands up, his shirt's got a singed hole where she punched him but the skin under the hole is completely unharmed.]

Note to self...green women from other worlds hit pretty hard too.
