[Shego's looking as neat and cheery as ever - but there's a folded Kleenex sticking out of her shirt pocket and even while she's smiling her eyes are red-rimmed and sad.]

Hi, everybody! I thought it'd be a good idea to let everyone know that Regina's in one of those darned comas again. Honestly, I don't know how the Admiral expects her to get out of here if she can't even stay awake five minutes! Anyway, I've taken her to the Infirmary so she'll be looked after 'til it's over, and I'm going to visit her as much as I can, so don't any of her friends worry.

Otherwise, I...guess I'm going to try and be around a little bit more over the next few days. You all know Cissie left, and...she was like a little sister to me. I never had a little sister before, and I couldn't ask for a better one - I'm just so happy for her. She helped Isaac graduate and she's got her life together and she's got a plan and that's great. I know she's gonna do great things.

[Her smile fades a little.] But I'm still gonna miss her a lot. I'm pretty down right now. But! it never helped anybody to just sit around sulking and let it fester, right? So I'll be around. If anybody needs any extra training in the gym or wants to go hiking in the CES or - you know, anything. I'm here.

[OOC: Obviously, Shego is affected! Long-termers will remember that she used to be unfriendly and asocial - but never sarcastic and embittered - but over time, making friends and coming out of her shell, she learnt the ~power of friendship~ and subsequently graduated. She's now a sweet, sincere person who will nonetheless kick your ass with a smile if you're disturbing the peace.]

She knew it was going to be more than a second because Kirk had to make sure everything in his cabin was at right angles before he left; she was a naturally tidy person herself but she couldn't hold a candle to his level of organization. It was cute, but sometimes she wished he could be a little more spontaneous. You don't have to look before you leap every time.

Still, she straightened her cabin a little and she was at the door with a smile on her face by the time he came over.

Not only just look, but analyze and look again about seven more times.

Jim gave her a smile back and slid an arm around her shoulder, using his other hand to tuck that tissue in first before completely the hug. "I'm going to miss her a lot too."

[Aaand she assumes you mean Cissie.]

Ohh, I'll be fine. You know me, Dick! I always bounce back. Can I meet you in a couple hours?

She squeezed his waist, resting her cheek against his chest. The potential of a literal shoulder to cry on made her sniffle briefly, eyes stinging, but she reined it in.

"Yeah. She'll be just great, though. I know she will."

[Well. It could be both but he mostly means what's with the crying and stuff. :|]

Sure. I'll be waiting, I guess.

[She shows up on deck a little while later, hair braided in two pigtails, in light hiking gear and a headband. Spotting Dick, she smiles brilliantly and waves.]

Hi-i! How's the weather in there?

[Oh my god what is happening. Dick just sort of stares for a couple seconds before deciding you know what, he wants to go on a hike and will do his best to navigate conversation away from things that will get him yelled at later.]

Uh, sunny, I think. Decent hiking weather, anyway.

[Don't worry Dick, you're safe - yelling at you would involve acknowledging this ever happened. :c]

[She rummages around in her pack for her Item, a little green teddy bear, and uses it to open the door. She steps through and holds it for him.]

Oh god, don't actually cry on him. Well, she could and he'd let her if she really needed to but the wet patch would also drive him insane.

"We can go visit her sometime?" You know, after Flynn graduated or Bones fulfilled his deal, whatever came first.

If you're so happy for her, then why are you crying? [Sounds genuinely curious.]

"Yeah! Yeah, that'd be great. She can't get rid of us that easily, right? When you're done here. We can just drop in on her."

Slightly teasing, because Jim did not 'just drop in'.

[She gives him a funny look over her shoulder.]

He knew she was teasing and pinched her hip for it anyway. "Can I do anything else for you?"

That sounds like it'd be super helpful, Chromie? But I don't know that I'd be comfortable with that. On her behalf, I mean.

Oh! I can ask for her permission after she wakes up. That way, if it happens again I'll know whether or not she's okay with it.
