Boohoohoo, we went to a world run by the Master and what the heck d'you know, it turns out he's kind of a jerk.  I can't move, I'm just so completely paralyzed by shock.

Whatever.  That was the most fun I've had in months.

Okay, look, if I seriously thought the whole thing was gonna last longer than a week or two? Maybe I would've rethought. Saxon is not exactly the kinda guy I would choose to work for. But seriously, am I the only person here with any sense of pattern recognition? Average port lasts a few days. The absolute worst things that have happened here lasted a week at the outside.

No reason at all to think this was gonna be any different. I was just having fun while it lasted.

Firstly, I said that if there was someone slightly less genocidal and backstabby available I'd sign up with them instead of Saxon, not that I actively didn't want to work for him. As for the time limit thing - it was like a working vacation, okay? New things to see, people to meet, places to go. I got my old job back for a week and it was fun. Sue me.
