Hey. So-called evil genuises. How's about a few basic rules?
This is pretty elementary stuff, y'know.
[Private to McCoy]
So, Jimmy says you'll stab me if I don't show up at the ward. Should I be worried about you or him?
- No mind control.
- No hive minds.
- No clones. Wait. No genetic experiments of any kind.
- No mystical whatever. Especially if it's something you have to dig up from a dead culture. It's dead for a reason, guys.
- No robots.
- No apocalyptic tech dork stuff.
- Actually? Nothing with an 'off' switch.
This is pretty elementary stuff, y'know.

She looks at him.] Doc, have you slept at all this week? Left this room in the last few days?
Action
[That question gets a derisive snort.] I left the room to try and get all the idiots who think that playing a fucking game of hide and seek with their doctors is the best course of action. [He sounds only a little bit exasperated, really.] It's the hazards of the job kid, days on your feet then stretches of mind numbing monotony.
Action
Want to get a drink after you're done with this? [She gestures vaguely at her arm.] Pretty sure nobody's gonna drop dead if you step out for an hour.
Action
Hell, why not. [He answers, tossing away the swab and patching up her arm before turning to her knuckles.] What's your poison of choice?

[At the question, she shakes her head.] I'm good. Thanks.

Yeah, yeah. I have no idea how an open bar and the constant disasters haven't combined to turn all you guys into raging alcoholics.

I guess? It's not like I've ever had a job where I've known I'd be off the clock for long enough to sober up - and recently? I've been working in a pretty competitive field. You show up drunk for one gig and that's your reputation gone forever.

[She holds the door open for him, just for the sake of contrariness.]

You have a last name Shego? [He asks, walking to the bar to find a decent bottle of bourbon.]
Action
[She perches on a bar stool, leaning on her elbows as she watches McCoy on his search.]

You...don't have credit cards in the future? Geez, and you whine about my time being backward.
Action
Got rid of money the way you know it a long time ago. After the third World War I think. [He comments, lifting his glass.]
