[Video! Shego's decidedly male today and wearing an expression that says she's refusing to acknowledge it because seriously, how many times is she going to turn into a dude while she's here.  Answer: more than twice, apparently.]

Regina, if you have male genitalia right now, I sincerely doubt it's anything you haven't seen before so just dig out your least fitted clothes and deal with it until it's over.

...seriously, if you're affected you're not excused from -- anything, but I'll let you use my shower so you don't have an existential crisis when you need to choose which set of Inmate bathrooms to use.

Oh, and if anyone needs to borrow a bra, feel free to ask anybody except me.

[And by the time she went to get changed herself, well, she opened the closet door and suddenly became aware that she had a pair of breasts to contend with again. Thanks, Admiral. She reassessed her options slightly and ended up on deck a couple of minutes before the arranged time, leaning against the doorframe.]

[Being Regina George, she manages to pull together a super-chic little hiking outfit, in shades of blue to offset her against the potential trees in a complementary way. Hair pulled back into a tight ponytail, sneakers on, makeup flawless, she trots up to Shego at the door.]

Oh, look. Someone woke up on the estrogen side of the bed again.

[If nothing else, they're probably the Barge's best dressed Warden/Inmate pair by some margin.]

I'm shocked you noticed so quick. C'mon. [She opens the door for Regina to let her into the Warden area and up to the CES. For all her talk of jungles and mountains the place is actually just doing its 'generic green woodland' thing today, albeit pleasantly so; it's warm but not hot, with a slight breeze breathing through the trees.]

[She doesn't actually hate Shego that much at the moment, so she gives her the sort of smile that says she's consciously avoiding the many nasty comments her warden just asked for with that, and settles for:] I'm observant.

[It's nice outside, and she has to admit that she likes having the sun on her face -- her skin's getting sad and pasty without it. But...] So what are we doing here?

We're going for a walk is what we're doing. [She's fallen into a fairly brisk walking pace, a little slower than she'd go alone so they can still walk and talk.] If you'd rather go to a common room so we can stare at each other for a couple hours we can do that instead, but I thought you might appreciate some actual sunlight.

Thought we might stretch to conversation at some point, but y'know, one thing at a time I guess. Unless you want to walk and not say anything which works for me too.

Your decision. [Beat.] Although I did wanna tell you something. [Beat.] About Jim.

Really. [Color her suddenly interested!] You can tell me. I won't tell a soul. [This might even be sort of true, not because she's not a horrible gossip, but because she barely has anyone to tell right now. Lua's her only outlet, and she's the one supplying half of the gossip!]

George -- never mind. You were right. Jim and I have been dating for three months, aaand I'd rather the whole Barge didn't find out right away.

[She's actually kind of tired of it being kept a semi-secret and while she's aware that she's officially put an expiration date on that being the case, well, hopefully if Regina thinks she's got something of value she'll save it for when she needs ammunition.]

[Regina's eyes light up. That, on its own, is good, but she wants more.] How come?

[gotgreenmagic]

[A shrug.] It's nobody else's business, that's how come.

[fuglyslut]

So? You should make it everyone else's business. I would, if I had a boy that hot. [Men = status symbols, obviously.] Ooh, is it because you used to be an inmate?

[gotgreenmagic]

[She shot her a sidelong look.] What? No. Why would that even be an issue?

[The actual answer is 'kinda', after a conversation she and Kirk had in which he implied that sleeping with his former Inmate was once of the worst things he could be discovered to be doing. She didn't follow his reasoning, herself, but it still nags at her.]

This is supposed to be like reform school, right? That's got to be against the rules. [Which makes Shego sort of the Barge's Trang Pak, which... ew. Grotsky beeyotch.]

[She forces herself to evince some patience, because it was a long time before she stopped thinking of the Barge as jail.]

The Barge isn't like reform school. It isn't like anything. If you're spending any time working out the best thing to compare this place to, trust me, it's time wasted. [She rubs the bridge of her nose.] Having anything like that to do with your own inmate or warden is against the rules. Nobody cares about anything else.

Then what's the point of hiding it? Unless you're afraid someone else is going to come along out of spite. [Not that she has any experience with that, on both the giving and receiving ends.]

I wouldn't call it 'hiding' exactly but - whatever, again, nobody else's business. [She almost adds that most people on the ship have grown out of the habit of maliciously stealing boyfriends but it's not something she feels like pursuing today.]

Whatever. [She's going to assume you're doing something super-kinky now, Shego, and it's going in her diary.]

Yeah. Thanks in advance for your discretion. [Said in a tone that suggests she's not really expecting any. Briefly frustrated, she sizes up a rock in their path that's just about climbable and elects to drill straight through it instead with a high-pressure burst of energy. Seeing the boulder go to pieces makes her feel marginally better.]
