I almost didn't make it back here. He figured out that Eric was not his Eric and tried to convince him to kill him -- begged him to, in fact -- and command the Admiral to leave him dead.

Because he knew his Warden would be back to normal soon, and would remember everything. And he didn't want to suffer anymore.

Pathetic, I know, but -- the only reason why Eric could convince him not to die was because of you. Or rather, the other you. Because he didn't want to disappoint you or leave you alone.

So thank you, Shego. Thank you for existing, because if you didn't, there wouldn't be another you, certainly, and I wouldn't still be alive right now.
