I -

I think I need to talk to somebody, or....something. I -

- It's like, I feel fine? But - my skin is -

[Shego switches on video and now y'all can see what the problem is.]

I'm green. I mean -

[She discreetly peeks under the neckline of her sundress.]

- I'm green everywhere.  How did I get green?

This is so abnormal.

Well, Shego, Captain Overconfidence also known as Kirk didn't really know what his name was either. But he'd had a few drinks since waking up and he was just going to put it all down to this day being so awesome - meaning booze and women filled - that his name didn't matter.

He spotted her before she saw him, that green skin was really not easy to miss, and so he headed her way, with a couple of drinks in hand.

"I didn't think you'd actually come."

"Yeah, well, I was going crazy just hanging out in my cabin. I was going to come up here for some fresh air anyways, so." She shifted, folding her arms. "What's your...are you calling yourself anything right now?"

"You can call me whatever you want," he replied with a wink as he offered her one of the drinks. "That's not offensive or crude because then I reserve the right to do the same for you."

She accepted the drink cautiously. "I'm calling myself Kim until I remember my real name. I - I know it's not my name? But it feels - I don't know, familiar."

"Then maybe you should call me Bones because that sounds familiar." In the dirty way. But also because he was unnaturally attached to his best friend whom he doesn't remember and who also abandoned him. But whatever. He raised his glass towards her and gave her an expectant look.

"Are we going to toast, Kim?"

"Bones? That sounds..." It rattled something in the back of her mind but she didn't interrogate the thought any further.

"...well, whatever, I guess Bones it is." She lifted her glass. "To...to retrograde amnesia?"

Well, alright he hadn't really been serious about that but if she wanted to call him that, then okay.

"And maybe someday we all figure out what the hell we're doing here." He clinked his glass against hers, smiling at her in that charming, kinda lecherous way, before he took a sip.

She shot him an amused glance in response to the smile, then took a sip from her glass.

"So...you don't know what's going on with you at all? Nothing in your cabin, no hints?"

"Just some clothes in a cabin I don't really remember." He shrugged a little bit, because he was just tipsy drunk enough that he didn't really care to give it much deeper thought. "What about you? Besides the green skin."

She shrugged back, circling the rim of her glass with a fingertip. "Not much? I think I've always been this color, I think I'm pretty rich, and either I'm really into working out or whatever I do needs me to keep fit. Other than that..." She pulled a face. "I guess neither of us are into holding onto anything much that's...personal."

His eyes immediately dropped down to check her out, giving her a once over before he nodded slightly, seemingly pleased with what he saw there. Yeah, she worked out and it showed and he definitely approved of the way that dress fit her.

"Maybe we're both just running away from something."

"Maybe."

She looked off over the bow of the ship. Endless ocean as far as the eye could see; if they were running away, they really couldn't have gotten any further from the rest of the world.

"Maybe we knew each other. Before, I mean." Or maybe she was just grasping onto something that felt even remotely familiar, but really, did it matter?

"I think I'd remember you." Mostly because green skin was rather memorable but if she wanted to take that as a pick up line... well, actually he meant for it to come out that way too.

He sipped at his drink, just watching her idly. "What do you think you used to do back in the real world?"

It was hard not to take it as a pick-up line; she offered him a smile, glancing up at him from under the fall of her hair. After a shaky start to her new life as an amnesiac it didn't hurt to feel noticed - to feel wanted?

"I can't even think. How hard d'you think it is for a green woman to find work?" she said, joking weakly. "Maybe I was an athlete or something. Some kind of performer, maybe?"

"Yeah, I could see that." He eyed her again and smiled a bit wider. He was trying to be subtle about hitting on her but subtle wasn't really something he was good at, he'd found. Oh well.

"Maybe a dancer?"

"Yeah, could be. I found a couple of pretty silly outfits in my closet that I don't think anyone would ever wear unless they were being paid for it, anyway."

She sipped her drink, moving a little closer to him. "What about you? What secret identity have you forgotten about?"

"I'd like to see one of those."

Yeah, he just gave her The Wink. Right before he finished off the rest of his drink and set it off to the side. Because he was feeling pretty good and getting drunker would probably seriously ruin this thing going between them.

"I think I was a spy. Or a lawyer."

Shego, on the other hand, was still working with an absolutely pitiful tolerance to alcohol and developing a nice buzz from the one glass she was slowly working through.

"A spy, huh?" She nudged him with her shoulder. "I like that so much better than my ideas. Maybe I'm a spy too. And I'm such an awesome spy that nobody ever sees me and thinks 'hey, there's a green chick', that's totally weird' when I'm spying on them."

Kirk laughed softly. "That's definitely it. We're both spies. On a secret mission, or we're on the run. That's why we don't have much. We really only have each other." And to complete the moment, he reached out and stroked her cheek gently a couple times.

She blushed and looked down, smiling despite herself.

"That's....kind of a leap of logic, there," she said, reaching up to brush her fingers against his wrist.

"I feel like I'm the type to make leaps like that." He decided to just go for it and grabbed her hand, lacing their fingers together. "Question is... are you going to leap with me?"

Re: [Spam]

She bit her lip, looking down at their entwined fingers, her skin almost white against his. Was she the type to do something just for the heck of it?

Her other hand found his arm, her fingers tracing over his biceps.

"...I'm going to be really disappointed if you can only talk the talk, y'know."

"I can do whatever you want me to do," Kirk promised her, sneaking an arm around her waist, just resting it there. Letting her decide if she wanted to move closer or not.

"Really."

She tensed a little at the touch, but not unpleasantly. She could play the cautious card, say it was a bad idea, that they didn't know who they were, that for all they knew they could be in relationships with other people and that this wasn't the right thing to do...but taking that route seemed like it was going to cost her a good time.

And there was a voice in her head telling her very clearly that the moral high ground was a place occupied exclusively by nerds and losers. Her hand slid from his arm to his shoulder, and she moved closer, standing toe to toe with him.

"Maybe I want us to take this conversation somewhere a little bit more private."

She could just go for it too.

"I think I can swing that," Kirk answered, giving her a very serious nod. Or, it tried to be serious but he was smiling too much for it really come off that way.

"I remember where my cabin is? Does that impress you?"
