[Intended to be private to Kirk, but is of course completely public. TYVM BARGE.]

[This is posted in the early hours of the morning - four or five AM. Shego's voice is hoarse and whispery - she sounds completely unlike herself. And she's freaking out a bit. A lot.]

I. You. You need to -

- I don't know, I know there isn't anything, I -

- you need to do something. Help me - kill me - I don't care, I am not doing this again, I can't, I won't -

[There's a screech of static and the line cuts out.]

[OOC: What's going on here? She's suffering two death tolls at once - being decapitated by Buffy, and the horrible uber-Death Toll suffered by those who ventured into the engine room during the Dead In The Water event last year. Which was so bad that she pretty much committed suicide-by-Joker for the sake of a hard reset. It didn't work. I....needed to break out the big guns to get through her foot-thick layer of apathy. :V

[She would go somewhere else just out of spite, but fuck that she's tired. So she'll just be sitting here against the railings.]

[Well yay for no spite. :| Tim is jogging his way there, and pausing when he finally spots here. Screw your privacy, he's coming over to crouch in front of her.]

[She gives a weak little wave. Right now she's barefoot in her PJs and is rocking the bed hair.]

[It really is cold. She might be shivering a little. And she forgot her shoes shut up. She just laughs hollowly at Tim's suggestion.]

You should at least have shoes on. [Siiiiigh he settles back on his haunches, balancing with his arms on his knees.]

...Do you want to talk about it?

[She's silent for a long time.]

It's the death toll. Like last year. The dreams -- Joker...

[It doesn't feel like she needs to add much more than that.]

[He doesn't say 'I know,' though. He did. :\ He just nods once, rubbing the back of his head.] If you get into another fight over this, I'm going to be mad. [Don't commit suicide plz. :c]

[She laughs again, toneless.]

What are you gonna do, stop talking to me?

[Subtext: SIR, YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS.]

[GDI. :|] I won't let you win next time we spar.

[At this point they have probably not sparred for over two months. :T She just gives him a look.]

If we were sparring at all I'd consider that an improvement.

Tim, we haven't spoken in five weeks. At all.

I didn't realize that my status as your girlfriend was your only reason for talking to me. Those months before we started dating must have been torture for you.

Yeah, there's nothing like getting the silent treatment for weeks on end to make things less awkward.

[She's silent for a moment and pushes a hand through her hair. If they're going to have this conversation, it's probably best they do it now while she already kinda wants to kill herself.]

Look, could you stop - hovering? Sit down. [She nods at the floor next to her.]

[But he's so good at hovering. Tim sits down next to her, legs pulled up loosely, wrists resting on his knees.]
