[Private to McCoy; voice]
Doc...? I lost...
Jimmy's gone. He started it, he just ran off, it's his own stupid fault and now I can't find him. He's gonna get eaten by wolves or something and it'll serve him right for being so dumb.
[And there's a noise that sounds suspiciously like sniffling.]
I need to find him. So I can beat him up for being such a tiny little pain in the neck.

[Full of confused adolescent hormones is what. Long getting-self-together pause.]
I've got my powers, I can...send up a flare or something? I don't wanna be...
I mean, it'd make more sense to search together, right? Two pairs of eyes, and...
...yeah.

Um, look up, I guess?
[And have a decent twenty-second long column of green glowy light! It does not coordinate very nicely with the orange sky.]

It took him a few minutes to head out to where Shego's signal came from, holding back a branch as he called out.] Shego?

"Doc-!"
She moved forward suddenly, very nearly opening her arms to hug him out of sheer relief, then stopped short at the last second and crossed her arms over her chest instead.
"Yeah. Thanks for coming."

She glared at the ground for a moment, then glanced back up at him, unsure. "Are you okay, doc?"

"Yeah, I'm just fantastic." He said dryly. At least he was getting better at sorting through his thoughts and Pavi's when the other man's memories spiked. "Sit, you're going to need your ankle and speed for when we find that damned brat."

"I didn't mean to lose him," she said after an interminable pause. Losing Kirk was one thing, but disappointing McCoy felt like something else. "He wanted to play tag, I let him keep ahead so I could keep watch, but I tripped and he kept running and...yeah. I was stupid," she added, with unusual vitriol for a comment aimed at herself.

"Hell, I've lost him when his hands were swelling up like balloons and he should have been passing out." McCoy answered dryly, lips pursing to the side before he continued. "I'm sorry you were saddled with him- he wasn't being very detailed on where you two were running around." He finished the bandaging and stood. "There, try to keep off it. When we get back to the Barge I'll fix it up for you."

She glanced back and forth for a moment, getting her bearings, then pointed off roughly northwards. "He went off that way, but..." But he could be anywhere by now. "Do you have, like, a future thing for finding people?"
[spam]
"What the hell happened? You drank something?" He asked.
