It didn't. Hooray.
But once there, she realised that she hadn't asked Captain Overconfidence what his name was or exactly where he was, so she lingered for a moment, glancing around the deck chairs and across the pool for a sign of him.

He spotted her before she saw him, that green skin was really not easy to miss, and so he headed her way, with a couple of drinks in hand.
"I didn't think you'd actually come."

"Are we going to toast, Kim?"

"...well, whatever, I guess Bones it is." She lifted her glass. "To...to retrograde amnesia?"

"And maybe someday we all figure out what the hell we're doing here." He clinked his glass against hers, smiling at her in that charming, kinda lecherous way, before he took a sip.

"So...you don't know what's going on with you at all? Nothing in your cabin, no hints?"

"Maybe we're both just running away from something."
[Spam]
She looked off over the bow of the ship. Endless ocean as far as the eye could see; if they were running away, they really couldn't have gotten any further from the rest of the world.
"Maybe we knew each other. Before, I mean." Or maybe she was just grasping onto something that felt even remotely familiar, but really, did it matter?

He sipped at his drink, just watching her idly. "What do you think you used to do back in the real world?"

"I can't even think. How hard d'you think it is for a green woman to find work?" she said, joking weakly. "Maybe I was an athlete or something. Some kind of performer, maybe?"
